It’s no secret that the city has had its eyes on a new Water Park for quite some time now. According to reports, Can-Alta, an Alberta company, is in talks with the city to build a water park at The Forks.
Mayor Sam Katz confirmed the reports and if all goes well, the water park will be built on a parking lot that currently parks Winnipeg Goldeyes games. If it’s anything like the Edmonton Mall World Water Park then bring it on!!! [GLOBAL WINNIPEG]
