A Muse N Games is Winnipeg’s newest friendly local gaming store located at 1839 1/2 Portage Ave.
They specialize in board games, role playing games, and collectible card games, including Magic the Gathering. In addition to selling games they offer a place for gamers to get together and play the games that they love. Open until at least 10pm on Fridays they feature open board gaming in a fun evening they refer to as “Friday Night Shenanigans”. A Muse N Games encourages people to come down and play something from their always growing demo library or bring a game of their own. All levels of experience are welcome.
Aside from games, they feature fantasy art and locally made artisan crafts, the type of items that you can often only find at annual events like Comic Con. Their current exhibition features the work of Ian Sokoliwski and they’ll feature a new exhibition every 2-3 months. Presently you can also find the creations of several local artisans ranging from chain maille, lego earrings, purses and wallets made from repurposed video consoles and controllers, and vintage coasters featuring unique images from classic movies.
