The Downtown Snow Maze build returns February 7, 2015!

If you’re looking for a fun/unique winter activity, then join hundreds of Winnipeggers as they build a snow maze in the heart of the city.

Everyone, young and old, is invited to celebrate winter and art by creating a community snow maze at the Millennium Library and Park on Saturday, February 7 and Sunday, February 8, 2015.

Build Times:

  • Saturday, February 7: 11:00am โ€“ 5:00pm
  • Sunday, February 8: 1:00pm โ€“ 4:00pm

People are encouraged to bring their own shovels, pull on their snow pants and enjoy building a maze out of snow bricks.

โ€œItโ€™s always great to see the community come together and create public art, but itโ€™s especially exciting to see Winnipeg come out and embrace wintertime,โ€ says Carol Phillips, Executive Director of the Winnipeg Arts Council. โ€œItโ€™s wonderful to see Millennium Library being used year-round as a space for public art.โ€

If the temperature dips below -28 with the windchill, SnowMAZEing programming will be postponed. Visit www.winnipegarts.ca for more information.
