Red River Co-Op has sent out a notice that Equity cheques won’t be mailed to members until the last week of February.
The change in distribution from previous years is due to Red River Co-op’s year-end being moved up a week, and also a change to their auditing process.
In 2013, Co-op saw the most successful year in the petroleum co-operative’s 76 year history. Sales exceeded $571 million with a net profit of more than $69 million.
Board of Directors allocated 11.68% of purchases which translated into an average of 14¢ per litre – a total equity allocation of $63 Million back to members!
