Join us for HERB FEST 2017 – SPRING INTO HERBS!
Sunday, June 11 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the
Assiniboine Park Conservatory Event Tent & Herb Garden

Learn about herbs and how you can enjoy them in your home year-round! There will be an herb sale, baked goods sale, guided tours of Herb Garden, and guest speakers.

12:30 – 1:00 pm | Melissa Makarenko, Chef at Resto Gare
Melissa will talk about how she uses herbs and offer tips for using herbs in every day cooking. Learn what herbs are easily accessible, which herbs go well together, and how to satisfy different flavour palates.

1:30 – 2:00 pm | Dawn Kitching, Natural Fragments
Dawn will be talking about how she uses herbs in her products. She’ll also share useful information about growing herbs, their benefits, and how to use them.

2:30 – 3:00 pm | St. Mary’s Nursery
Faery Gardens are all the rage! Watch a demonstration and learn how you can incorporate herbs into your own miniature garden landscape.
