The Whiteout Street Party is back on Friday as the Jets look to close out the Wild in Game 5.
After a heart breaking Game 3 loss in Minnesota, the Jets took Game 4 and come home with a 3-1 series lead. A win would take the Jets to the second round for the first time since returning to Winnipeg.
Due to overwhelming response, the party has been made even larger. The party will start at 4:30pm.
An additional TV screen, more vendors, and more washrooms are all being added. The expanded venue will increase the capacity by over 50%!
Additional entry and exit points will also allow for greater site access. There will now be a total of four entry points:
- Graham and Hargrave
- Graham and Smith
- Portage and Donald
- St. Mary and Donald

- Where can I park my bike?
At this point we have not added additional bike parking, but there are a number of existing bike racks available at the Millennium Library and around BellMTS Place. As the event continues to grow, we will be exploring more bike parking options. - How will the party affect traffic downtown?
There will be some street closures and Transit reroutes around BellMTS Place. Details can be found here. It’s a good idea to allow extra time to get around downtown. Winnipeg Transit has more information on affected routes. Download and use the Waze app for real-time traffic and incident updates as well as traffic re-route options. - Anything else I need to know?
Dress for the weather (whatever it might be that day). Of course, we encourage all fans to wear white for every game!
