The Pepsi Centre has been double booked and Vince McMahon isn’t happy about it.
The WWE had booked the Pepsi Centre for Monday Night Raw on May 25, 2009. The contract was signed on August 15, 2008. But since the Lakers/Rockets series went to 7 games, game 4 of Denver vs. Los Angeles series will now fall on the same day. The Pepsi Center has announced that the NBA game will continue as scheduled and they are working with the WWE on rescheduling the event.
McMahon blames Nuggets and Pepsi Center owner Stan Kroenke for not having any faith in his team. He claims that Kroenke booked WWE assuming that the Nuggets wouldn’t still be in the playoffs.
There really isn’t anyone to blame for this since the NBA Playoff scheduling strongly depends on the results of previous matches. But is so funny how Vince McMahon calls out Stan Kroenke in this interview with ESPN.
Everyone knows that there is only way to solve this… Royal Rumble between the WWE, Nuggets, and Lakers.
