Looking for a great way to spend your lunch hour today? Then be sure to head to The Bay St. Vital (parking lot) for International Olympic Day in celebration of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics!
There will be a free community BBQ as well as more fun and games.
The festives start at 12pm sharp. The first 20 people on site will have the chance to play pick-up hockey with Winnipeg speed skaters and 2010 Olympic hopefuls Brittany Schussler and Mike Ireland – and they’ll receive a commemorative gift from Hudson’s Bay Company, worth over $100.
The first 100 people will also receive commemorative hats and other giveaways. And everyone is invited to meet the Vancouver 2010 mascots: Quatchi, Miga and Sumi.
