Theatre By The River presents: Wine & Words 2016

Every spring, Theatre By The River invites Winnipeg to Wine & Words, an event dedicated to celebrating writing, reading, and yes, wine!
Since its first production in 2010, Wine & Words has celebrated the written works of Canadian musicians, poets, playwrights, authors, and storytellers. At the event, professional actors and celebrities present dramatized readings of new works composed by established and emerging writers to help fundraise for the company’s season.
This year, TBTR is very excited to bring you Wine & Words 2016 in partnership with the Manitoba Museum. Join us on Friday, May 6th as we celebrate not-yet-published pieces from established and emerging writers themed to Space, Exploration and the Infinite Universe!
Hosted by Lara Rae and featuring a cast of local celebrities and professional actors, the 2016 event will come to life under the Planetarium Dome!
