The yearly Santa Clause Parade will take place this year Saturday, November 15th. I hear it’s a spectactular event for children. I haven’t attended myself yet. I’m usually too big of a baby to brave the cold for lights.
The parade is starting at Portage and Young street at 5pm and continuing along Portage Avenue, turning south down Main Street ending at Main and Water Avenue.
The Santa Clause Parade website has many resources, including the ability to sign up as a volunteer for the event, coloring contest for the kiddies, float registration, parking information and a little history on the parade.
