At another attempt in getting a Casino in our Neighbor city – Brandon, the residents have once again spoken and 57% of the voters said “No” to plans of a Casino. This would be the third attempt from the Gaming Ministry to get a casino established in Brandon, 1995 and 2002 were the others.
It seems that Gaming Minister Andrew Swan got the message loud and clear this time and will now respect the wishes of the city and its residents.
Looks like the 43% that voted “Yes” still have to make the drive to Regent or McPhillips Street Station to get their fix.
