Manitoba has lifted the restriction on non-essential item sales in Winnipeg and in-person lottery sales are once again available at various retailers.

Previously, lottery products such as Lotto Max, 6/49 and Sports Select could only be purchased online. The winning $60-million Lotto Max jackpot was won by a Winnipegger who purchased their ticket online during the CODE-RED non-essential item ban.

Retailers are expected to be busy. It’s recommended that customers use the self-serve Lotto Spot! ticket checker or download the Lotto Spot! app to check your tickets before heading to a retailer. Only winning tickets should be brought to the counter for validation.

Lottery sales continue to be unavailable for Northern Manitoba where non-essential restrictions are still in place.
