For those of you too lazy to dial and listen, you can now click and read instead! (Hmm… isn’t that backwards?)

Rogers has introduced its new Voicemail-to-Text service. They are using new technology provided by SpinVox to make this all possible. How does it work? It captures spoken words and feeds them into a Voice Message Conversion System, known as ‘D2’ (the Brain), and spits them out as text content.

So rest assure, it is all secured artificial intelligence doing the work. There isn’t some overseas kid getting paid $1 a day to transcribe your mom asking you to pick up milk on the way home.

To sign up for the service you must have an existing Voicemail and Text Message plan with Rogers.

You get unlimited conversions of Voicemail to Text for $6/month with your first month free. Rogers Value Pack subscribers save an additional 33% and pay only $4/month.
