Apple Reveals a New MacBook Pro and Mac Mini

Apple has unveiled a new MacBook Pro and Mac Mini that will be supercharged by the next generation of Apple silicon.


The Mac Mini baseline will have a next-gen M2 chip, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. Ports include HDMI, gigabit ethernet, headphone jack, two USB-A ports and two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports.

There will also be a M2 Pro version of the Mac Mini which will have 16GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, and an additional two Thunderbolt 4 ports to the ports available in the baseline model.

The new MacBook Pro’s will come in 14 and 16 inch screen sizes with either an M2 Pro and or M2 Max chip. The M2 Pro model will have a 12-core CPU, up to 19-core GPU, and up to 32GB of unified memory. The M2 Max will have 38 cores of GPU power and support for up to 96GB of unified memory.

Both will begin shipping on January 24, 2023.
