The Latency, a new up and coming band from Maple Ridge, BC is on their first cross-country tour, and making a stop at Ozzy’s in the Village, on Friday, March 20th.
Also playing this evening is Davinport, Losing Focus, and Aftertrust. (All of whom I checked out on MySpace, and think they sound awesome…) Tickets are $5 in advance or $8 at the door and sorry kiddies, this is an 18+ event.
I was lucky enough to catch the Latency at a Jagermeister Party while in Vancouver, and was blown away with how awesome they sound live. They’ve been busy recording in the studio with Tommy Mac from Hedley, but their EP Chomp! is available on iTunes. I suggest you pick it up! But if you need a bit more convincing, check out this video I took during a show I caught in Vancouver of their first single “Tonight, I Love You” which you may have heard on Hot103. =)
