On Wednesday, April 15, the Moose will embark on their quest to capture a Calder Cup championship. Having already eclipsed the franchise record for wins in a season, there is no better time to catch the Moose in post-season action.

Having clinched first place in the North Division, the Manitoba Moose will have home-ice advantage in the first two rounds of the 2009 Calder Cup Playoffs and are currently first place in the AHL with only three regular season games remaining. As a result, the Manitoba Moose will host games 1 and 2 and games 6 and 7 (if necessary) of the Division Semi-Final best-of-7 series against either the Toronto Marlies or the Syracuse Crunch, depending on where those two teams finish in the standings.

The tentative dates for these first round playoff games are as follows:

GAME 1: Wednesday, April 15 @ 7:30pm
GAME 2: Friday, April 17 @ 7:30pm
GAME 6: (if necessary): Saturday, April 25 @ 7:30pm
GAME 7: (if necessary): Tuesday, April 28 @ 7:30pm
