We are one of the few cities in Canada still without a car pool lane – but that could change soon. The city is considering opening up diamond lanes to taxis and car pools.
With buses in Winnipeg only coming every 15 minutes, this is great news. These lanes are often empty and un-used. It is great that we are opening them up to increase traffic flow and reward those who choose to car pool and create a healthier environment.
