Glendale City council voted in favour of the Coyotes staying in Phoenix for at least one more season. This isn’t a big surprise since the NHL has expressed that they were willing to do whatever it took to keep the team there.
Not all hope is lost though. The Phoenix Coyotes are still struggling financially, and it would make sense for Glendale to start putting themselves in a position to sell the team for the 2011-2012 season.
For now, the Jets remain unfueled and waiting for takeoff.
