Netflix, one of the worlds most popular online streaming service, has finally arrive in Canada today. Blockbuster just came one step closer to bankruptcy.
What is Netflix?
They are a US-based movie rental company that came to fame with a mailbox movie rental system. You select a movie to rent on their website, they mail it to you, and then mail it back when you’re done. (US Only)
What is Netlfix Online Streaming Service?
It is an online movie streaming service that can be watched on various devices. For a monthly fee, you get a username and password to watch unlimited movies and TV shows on any of your devices. Devices include: PC, Mac, Xbox 360, PS3, WII, AppleTV, iPhone, iPod, iPad, and many more!
A subscription is only $7.99 a month for unlimited streaming with a one month free trial. At this point, the movie selection is very low, but expect it to build up when more Canadian distributors get on board.
