Winnipeg Fido customers rejoice! 6:00pm early evening calling is now a standard feature for all Fido customers on a monthly contract plan with a evenings and weekends feature. This is not a short-term promotion and will be available as long as you are on a Fido plan.
This means that unlimited evening and weekend callings now start at 6pm rather than the previous 7pm time. Most cellphone companies are taking 6pm as the new evening standard and I expect more to follow shortly.
Existing customers will now start receiving the free 6pm evenings and weekends if you already have an evenings and weekends plan.
