Every holiday season Shaw has a channel dedicated to a loop of a digital fireplace and Christmas carols.
This is normally free, but this year Shaw will be charging 99 cents plus fees and taxes for 24 hours of viewing using Shaw’s VOD (Shaw’s Christmas tree is also available on VOD too).
Ridiculous I know! But on the plus side, 100% of the proceeds will be matched by Shaw and donated to local charities.
Due to popular demand the Fire Log can be watched for free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on ‘The Frame’ channel until January 2nd, 2011. You can find The Frame on channel 212 in HD and channel 165 in SD.
The fireplace can be purchased on Channel 212 in high definition, and Channel 165 in standard definition.
