This years White Pages phone books will now only be delivered by request instead of delivered to all Winnipeg homes.
The Yellow Pages Group, who distributes the free annual White Pages, no longer sees a requirement for it with the success of various online phone number look ups.
Score one point for the environment! The amount of paper (even though recycled) these books use is unbelievable. It’s great to see them finally decommissioned.
