Apple has officially opened the flood gates to it’s latest and greatest operating system. OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion is now available to the masses for $19.99 at the Mac App Store. It’s a 4.05GB update so if your hard drive is just as full as mine, you’ll have to start finding some disk space.
Mountain Lion will have over 200 new features including:
– iCloud
– Messages (iMessage)
– Notification Center
– Integrated Sharing to Facebook, Twitter, and more
– Power Nap (Mac stays up to date, even while it sleeps)
– Dictation
– AirPlay
– Game Center
Customers who purchased a Mac after June 11, 2012 will receive the upgrade for free. If you buy a new Mac after today, and it doesn’t come shipped with Mountain Lion, you have 30 days to get a free upgrade by making a Up-To-Date request. [APPLE]
