Every year the city recovers hundreds of stolen and lost bicycles that are never claimed, this is what happens to them…

They are auctioned off at the annual Winnipeg Bicycle Auction. A total of 750 will be auctioned off (450 on Saturday and 300 on Sunday).

On-site parking is available for $2.00, with all parking, food, and refreshments proceeds going to the Varsity View Community Centre. The two-day event takes place on:

Saturday, April 27:
– Public Viewing from 7:00 am to 8:45 am
– Auction begins at 9:00 am sharp
– 450 Bicycles for Auction

Sunday, April 28:
– Public Viewing from 10:00 am to 11:45 am
– Auction begins at 12:00 noon sharp
– 300 Bicycles for Auction

Bikes are sold as is with no warranty or refunds. The WRENCH program returns this year with up to 250 bikes being tuned up and ready to ride courtesy of W.R.E.N.C.H. volunteers & mechanics.
