As of April 1, 2013, the price of liquor has gone up in Manitoba for the first time since 2010. The MLCC increased the price of spirits 47 cents for each 750 ml bottle.

As an example, the cost of a bottle of Absolut Vodka will increase from $24.99 to $25.99 and Ballantine’s Fine Scotch will rise from $25.60 to $26.40.

Night club and bar establishments are also expected to increase their liquor prices to offset the costs.
