Starting May 31, 2013, the province will prohibit the sale of tobacco at any stores that also contain a pharmacy. This includes large chains such as Safeway, Costco, Superstore, and Shoppers Drug Mart.
This is a small step in the ongoing crackdown on smokers convenience. The new bill will also stop the sale of tobacco in vending machines. [CJOB]
