The 2014 Manitoba Marathon, which is an official Boston Marathon qualifier, will take place on Sunday, June 15, 2014 on the University of Manitoba grounds.
The Full Marathon spans 42.19 kilometres. We’re constantly are amazed at all the finishers! In 2013, there were a total of 809 runners who participated in the Full Marathon. Evans Maiko of Kenya came in first place with a time of 2:28:17. It was Maiko’s first victory and first marathon!

Full Marathon
Our course has a great and storied history. Since its design by Fred Dawson in 1980, the 2nd year of the Manitoba Marathon, and it has been the site of past Canadian Marathon and Masters Championships as well as the site of the 1999 Pan American Games Marathons
Intrepid Dezine Half Marathon
All the benefits of the Full Marathon and you’ll burn only half the calories! Join over 4,000 runners on the first six miles of our scenic Full Marathon course before breaking off for two miles and then rejoining the Full Marathon course for the last five miles, back to the University Stadium Finish.
Popeye’s Supplements Relay
The Popeye’s Supplements Relay is one FUN event so grab four family members, friends, co-workers, classmates or anyone you can find for that matter! Create a team and enjoy an amazing race day experience while covering the entire Full Marathon course!
Winnipeg Free Press 10 km
Plan for a run or a leisurely stroll this Father’s Day – choose your own fitness challenge and experience the thrill of participating in the Manitoba Marathon! *The Winnipeg Free Press 10K is a non competitive event.
Great-West Life Super Run
Plan to run with your friends and family in the fun 2.6 mile Super run on father’s day! While running among 4ooo other Super Run participants, you are bound to have a great time! *The Great-West Life Super Run is a non competitive event.
Mini Mites
The Mini Mites provides a dose of cute competition before the “big people” start their races! For participants 5 years and under, each wears a special #1 bib as they run in a short “scoot” toward the Full Marathon start line! *Mini Mites is a non competitive event
