Assiniboine Park Zoo has moved the three cubs from the International Polar Bear Conservation Centre (IPBCC) to the habitat within the Journey to Churchill exhibit.

A total of seven Polar Bears are now at the Journey to Churchill Exhibit at Assiniboine Park Zoo.

You’ll be able to see Humphrey, Blizzard and Star in the Sea Ice Passage area of the exhibit. Hudson, Storm, Aurora and Kaska are now located at the Churchill Coast area.

Blizzard and Star were brought to the IPBCC as cubs in late September after they were spotted by a helicopter along the Hudson Bay coastline. Efforts to find the cub’s mother were unsuccessful so they were relocated to the Zoo.

Humphrey, Hudson’s little brother, arrived in Winnipeg in March from the Toronto Zoo.

The Assiniboine Park Zoo is open daily from 9:00am – 5:00pm.
