MTS has finally unveiled its CRTC regulated Skinny TV package.
The CRTC requires that all TV providers in Canada provide a $25/month basic TV package (excluding hardware). MTS’s new Starter Package will be $28/month, $3 of that going to eqipment rental.
The Starter Package includes 24 channels and one wired set-top box rental. Local and major networks include:

- Global Winnipeg HD
- Fox HD
- City Winnipeg HD
- CBS HD
- NBC HD
- ABC HD
- APTN HD
- PBS HD
- NAC TV
- Hope TV
- Unis TV
- The Weather Network HD
- CBC French HD
- ICI RDI
- TFO
- AMI TV HD
- AMI TV French HD
- AMI Audio
- EPAC
- EPAC French
- TVA Montreal
- TV5
- The Weather Network
- CTV GO
- MTS TV to Go
That package is very similar to what Shaw has to offer as well.
