Bring Your Dog to a Goldeyes Game When Bark in the Park Returns on June 17

The Winnipeg Goldeyes will be once again host a special dog-friendly baseball game on Saturday, June 17, 2017 where fans are invited to bring their dogs to Shaw Park for the game!

“Bark in the Park has definitely proven to be a Goldeyes fan favourite,” said Winnipeg Goldeyes’ President and CEO Sam Katz. “This year, our fans and their dogs can be a part of history by helping us break a Guinness World Records title for Most Dogs Attending a Sporting Event, while also helping to support such a worthy cause as the Winnipeg Humane Society.”

The current Guinness World Record for Most Dogs Attending a Sporting Event is 1,122 dogs, achieved in 2016 by Major League Baseball’s Chicago White Sox.

Bark in the Park will include various fun dog-themed entertainment, prizes, giveaways, and pet-related vendors with lots of treats for furry fans.

Tickets for “Bark in the Park” are on sale now, and cost just $14. Each ticket includes admission for one person and one dog, plus a complimentary “treat bag” (while supplies last). During the event, dogs and dog owners can enjoy various dog-themed entertainment, giveaways, and pet-related vendors with plenty of treats for furry fans.

A portion of ticket sales for the event will go to the Winnipeg Humane Society.

NOTE: Those attending “Bark in the Park” with their dog must download and print a “Bark in the Park” Waiver and Guidelines from http://goldeyes.com/bark-in-the-park/ , and present it at the dog registration table.
