Winnipeg is finally getting a Water Park! The Transcona Aquatic Park on 1101 Wabasha St. will open to the public on Friday, June 30 at 1:00pm.
To celebrate its grand opening, the park is offering free admission June 30, July 1 & 2 until the maximum capacity of the facility is reached.
Water Park Hours:
- Season: June 30 – September 4
- Open daily from 1:00pm to 8:00pm
Aquatic Park Features:
- picnic tables and umbrellas available
- four water slides (height requirement 48 IN / 122 CM)
- zero grade entry (beach entry) with mini geysers and shallow water spray features
- 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards
- expanded spray pad
- shade sails and picnic areas
- new accessibility change rooms and lockers
- during inclement weather operations can proceed in to indoor pool area
