Patio season is in full effect, and the City of Winnipeg is still pushing for a ban on smoking on Winnipeg patios.
A city committee has voted in favour of a motion to review other Canadian cities rules when it comes to smoking on city patios. Winnipeg is the last major Canadian city without a patio smoking ban.
If approved, we could see a smoking ban on patios as early as Summer 2018. [CTV WINNIPEG]
