Liquidation of all Sears in Canada will begin on Thursday, October 19, 2017. As with all liquidation sales, the discounts will begin at around 40%, and gradually rise until everything is cleared out.
There are 3 Sears locations in Winnipeg:
- Sears St Vital Centre
- CF Polo Park
- Kildonan Place
Liquidation of the Garden City Shopping Centre outlet store started in July and is now fully closed.
There are currently 74 full department store locations, eight Sears Home Stores and 49 Sears Hometown stores in Canada that all be closed.
Sears Canada has announced that it’s no longer honouring extended warranties. If you purchased extended warranty within the last 30 days, you are eligible for a refund. Manufacturer’s warranty (usually 1 year) still applies to products purchased from Sears.
