Here’s a list of Canada Day daytime activities at Assiniboine Park. As previously announced, there will be no fireworks in the evening this year. Regular zoo admission applies on Canada Day.
- 11:00 am – 12:00 pm | National Historic Event Designation Ceremony
- 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm | Citizenship Ceremony
- 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm | Al Simmons
- 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm | Folklorama Programming
There will also be food trucks, bouncy castles and face painting for kids to enjoy. Assiniboine Park will offer a free Park n’ Ride service from the Canadian Mennonite University at 500 Shaftesbury Blvd. from 11 am to 6 pm on Canada Day.
