Shoppers Drug Mart will no longer operate 24-hour stores in Winnipeg.
There are currently three round-the-clock stores in Winnipeg:
- Roslyn & Osborn (43 Osborne St.)
- St. James Sc (2533 Portage Ave)
- Pembina Village & South Park (2211 Pembina Highway)
They will soon be converted to midnight closing stores. Shoppers Drug Mart stated that the after hours demand in Winnipeg was so low that it was no longer practical to keep these stores open 24-hours.
