A drive-in theatre is back in Winnipeg! The economy parking lot at the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport has been transformed into a drive-in theatre.
The Summer Drive-In Series is a partnership between AVentPro, CAA Manitoba and the Winnipeg Airport Authority. Screenings will take place nightly from June 11 to June 21.
Car passes will cost $30 plus processing fees. All proceeds will go to three Winnipeg organizations battling COVID-19: Health Science Centre’s COVID-19 Crisis Response Fund, Winnipeg Harvest and United Way Winnipeg.
The lot can hold up to 200 cars, parking spots are on a first come first serve. Tickets can be pre-purchased at https://ywgmovies.simpletix.ca/.
Concessions will also be available. They can be purchased online and they will be delivered to your vehicle.
