Starting Wednesday, July 29, 2020, a face covering or non-medical mask will be required at all times while inside Winnipeg Richardson International Airport.

For the first time since March, more than 2,000 passengers travelled through Winnipeg’s airport on Monday. This was after seeing a 95% drop in passenger traffic during the second quarter of 2020.

As they welcome travellers back to the airport, the face mask policy will increase safety to an already risky situation.

The rule applies to travellers, visitors and employees.
