On June 12th, the MB government passed a bill to ban cell phones while driving (albeit very quietly).
I briefly heard this on the radio but haven’t been able to come across too much detail except that before police will begin handing out tickets, there WILL be a public awareness program to let people know. Tickets won’t shouldn’t be handed out until some time in the Spring.
Until then, start shopping for one of these …
