Dine About Winnipeg returns again this year from February 2 – 11.
What is Dine About Winnipeg? It is an annual event hosted by Ciao! Winnipeg that features many of Winnipeg finest restaurants. Each restaurant has a $25 or $35 special for a full course meal. You can enjoy some of Winnipeg greatest culinary masterpieces at an affordable price!
We attend a new restaurant every year and its a great way to try new things.
General reservations begin January 10. Be sure to reserve early because most restaurants sell out for the whole event.

APPETIZER: Garlic mushroom skillet
ENTRÉE: Bison ribs
DESSERT: Crème brûlée
APPETIZER: Tomato, arugula and bocconcini salad
ENTRÉE: Panko-crusted chicken breast stuffed with cranberries, asparagus and brie cheese, topped with an almond butter sauce
or Basil-crusted pickerel fillet with tiger prawns
DESSERT: Bailey’s tiramisu
APPETIZER: Butternut squash ravioli with sage butter
or Puff-pastry cups with escargots, garlic, spinach and chèvre cheese
ENTRÉE: Signature pizza with roasted chicken, caramelized pear, toasted walnuts and gorgonzola
or Prawn, scallop and prosciutto penne in white wine cream with red pepper and fresh basil
DESSERT: Pumpkin-filled phyllo pastry, drizzled with honey and toasted almonds
or Decadent chocolate brownie with berry coulis

APPETIZER: Classic cheese fondue—Swiss-gruyere blend with white wine and kirsch
ENTRÉE: Surf n’ turf combination—beef tenderloin, breast of chicken, pork tenderloin, tiger prawns and bay scallops
DESSERT: Toasty turtle—dark Belgian chocolate, caramel and pecans served with an array of fresh fruit
