Ciao!’s Dine About Winnipeg is an annual dining event that features some of Winnipeg’s most prestige restaurants.
It will allow you to experience three course meals from Winnipeg’s finest chefs for only $25 or $35!

Chicken satay – skewers of marinated chicken breast served with spicy Thai peanut sauce
Soup du jour or garden salad
California mixed greens with fresh strawberries, mandarin orange, blueberries and poppy seed dressing
New York Steak Royal – 10 oz New York steak stuffed with crab meat and topped with béarnaise sauce
Sweet Thai Chile Salmon – grilled salmon glazed with a sweet thai chile sauce topped with julienne leeks, ginger and red pepper
Lemon Strawberry Shortcake – lemon shortcake topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream

Gambieri del firehouse – grilled shrimp spiked with sweet and spicy chilli seasoning and served with chipotle pepper cream sauce
Gnocchi formaggio capra – tender potato gnocchi simmered in goat cheese cream sauce with zucchinni
Ravioli de piccante – mushroom-stuffed ravioli tossed in sweet and spicy Sambuca cream sauce with fresh Roma tomatoes, green onions, sundried tomatoes and mushrooms
Salmon San Francesco – centre-cut, braised salmon fillet served on a bed of garlic pesto linguine, topped with Roma tomatoes and green onions in lemon-lime curry cream sauce and seasoned bread crumbs
White chocolate and raspberry swirl cheesecake
Chocoholic’s Fix – Layers of truffle milk and dark chocolate ganache surrounded by white chocolate drizzle

The event takes place between February 2 – 11, 2010 but you are required to book early. Reservations fill up VERY quick for these events, so make sure you reserve your favourite restaurants before they fill up.
