For the 2010 Holiday season Winnipeg Transit is bringing back the Santa Bus for the 25 year in a row. Starting today until Christmas eve, Winnipeg Transit’s Santa Bus will travel throughout Winnipeg to raise money for the Christmas Cheer Board.
The Santa Bus is a specially marked Winnipeg Transit bus with a large photo of Santa and his reindeer. All fares and donations collected on the bus are donated to the Christmas Cheer Board. Last year, Winnipeg Transit raised over $16,000.
