Manitoba Donating $100K to Japan Disaster Relief Efforts

Published

The province of Manitoba is donating $100K to disaster relief efforts in Japan. The money will go towards the relief and redevelopment of Japan after being hit by a massive 8.9/9.0 magnitude earthquake. The quake that hit the Pacific Ocean nearby Northeastern Japan at around 2:46pm on March 11 (JST) caused damage with blackouts, fire and a tsunami.

Manitoba has been fortunate enough to receive support from all around the world when we are in need. So for Premier Greg Selinger, this donation was a no-brainer.

Here is a list of various ways us Canadians can donate to Japan.
