The Lockport Dam Family Festival kicks off this weekend at the park near the St. Andrews Lock and Dam.

It will be a great place to take kids on the weekend as there will be crafts, bouncy houses, clowns, a dunk tank and market as well as face painting!

Lockport is known for its cat-fish, and the festival will feature a catfish-fishing contest!

Plenty of bands (more then 20) will also make an appearance as well as singers and various dance groups which are also set to perform. With Bon Jovi tribute band Bed of Roses headlining Friday; singer-songwriter Sierra Noble on Saturday; and rock group Eagle and Hawk ending things Sunday, its set to be a great weekend at Lockport.

Fireworks are also going to be set off at 10:30 PM Saturday and Sunday.
