Morden Corn & Apple Festival Returns August 28–30, 2026

Published

The Morden Corn & Apple Festival is returning to downtown Morden, Manitoba, from August 28–30, 2026, bringing three days of free entertainment, live music, family activities, food, vendors, midway rides and, of course, plenty of fresh corn and apple juice.

One of Manitoba’s largest street festivals, the annual event takes over downtown Morden with activities spread throughout Stephen Street and surrounding venues. The festival is designed as a free, family-friendly event with something happening throughout the weekend.

Free Corn and Apple Juice

One of the festival’s biggest traditions is also one of its most popular: free corn on the cob and free apple juice.

In 2026, free corn and apple juice will be available at Stephen Street and Nelson Street on Friday and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Visitors can also purchase cooked corn and cider, with cooked corn on the cob and cider available throughout the festival.

Live Music and The Tea Party

Music will be a major part of the weekend, with performances taking place across several stages throughout downtown Morden.

The big Saturday night attraction will be The Tea Party, who will headline the Access Main Stage at Stephen Street and 8th Street on Saturday, August 29.

Friday’s Access Main Stage lineup also includes live entertainment, while Saturday features additional performers and local talent throughout the festival.

Family Activities and Midway

Families will have plenty to see and do, including the Wonder Shows Midway, which will be set up downtown. The midway is scheduled to operate Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Kids can also visit the Crafts Tent at Confederation Park for hands-on activities, including bead jewellery making, cartoon portraits, temporary tattoos, origami and a bubble station.

The festival will also feature a Youth Stage, busking stations, a farmers’ market, vendors, arts and crafts activities, workshops and other entertainment throughout the weekend.

Festival Schedule

The 2026 festival schedule includes events from Friday through Sunday, with activities taking place at multiple downtown locations.

Some of the highlights include the festival’s opening ceremonies, live music, youth performances, children’s activities, free corn and apple juice, the midway and Saturday night’s headlining performance by The Tea Party.

Free shuttle buses will also operate throughout the festival, providing a convenient way for visitors to get around Morden and access downtown from several parking areas and stops.
