Downtown Spirit bus riders will enjoy more than a FREE bus ride during it’s 5th annual Spirit Week.
From Monday August 8 – Friday, August 12, 2011 11am to 3:30pm, Downtown Spirit Bus riders will be greeted with music, candy, trivia for prizes and a chance to win an iPad 2!
Each bus will have a costumed Downtown Winnipeg BIZ staff person on board managing the festivities.
The Downtown Spirit free shuttle bus runs on three routes. Routes 1 and 2 connect the core of downtown with The Forks, making a loop that passes down Portage Avenue to The Bay Downtown and along Broadway.
Spirit route 3 connects the University of Winnipeg with Red River College Princess Street campus and runs every 30 minutes. Spirit 3 will also have trivia and prizes, but no entertainment.
