RWB Dance Downtown - September 28

The Royal Winnipeg Ballet (RWB) is a outstanding ballet company that has performed different ballet shows throughout the years nationally and all over the world.

The Nutcracker, composed by Tchaikovsky, is one of Winnipeg’s favourites during the Christmas season that RWB brings back every single year. This year they are celebrating their 75th year. RWBs season line up looks to be a awesome year with classic shows such as Cinderella, Swan Lake, and of course The Nutcracker.

Although some may be thinking, “I don’t like the ballet”, maybe it’s time for you to give it a chance.

RWB is hosting a one-day event called Dance Downtown. Dance Downtown will be held on September 28, 2014 from 1pm – 4pm at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Building, 380 Graham Ave. There you will be able to find different dance workshops that you are able to view or join, bring your kids – if you have any – to any of the activities; as well there will be movies during the event also.

It’s a fun-filled afternoon event that will provide a respect and different view of what dancers, typically ballet dancers, do to become a dedicated, and full pledge dancer.
