The former big red is being replaced by another big red.
Canadian Tire is set to take over a dozen former Target locations across Canada for $17.7 million. This includes the former Grant Park store in Winnipeg.
All-in-all, Canadian Tire will pick up 400,000 square foot of retail space. Since Target and Canadian Tire have a similar red brand to their buildings, very minimal renovations need to be done to the retail space.
It will be Winnipeg’s seventh Canadian Tire location.
