Crown Royal whisky workers located in Gimili, Manitoba have voted in favour of a strike to back their contract demands.

The members of Local 832 of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union voted 100% in favour of strike action. The strike will begin on March 4, 2016 at midnight if a deal isn’t met before then.

During the holidays, the city saw a shortage of the raved-about Crown Royal Norther Harvest. If a deal isn’t met, then we might see a shortage of other Crown Royal products as well.
