It’s going to cost you a lot more if you’re caught parked illegally at the University of Manitoba.
For the first time since 2001, the U of M is increasing their citation rates. Starting May 1, 2016, a parking ticket from the University will cost as much as a ticket from the Winnipeg Parking Authority.
New General Violation Rates:
- $35 if paid within 10 days (Up from $20)
- $70 if paid after 10 days (Up from $40)
Bomber fans and concert-goers parked illegally on game and event days at Investors Group Field could get a $50 ticket and have their vehicle towed.
