Get some shopping done while your kids trick or treat!
If you’re a parent who isn’t a fan of long walks in chilly Winnipeg weather, then perhaps you’ll want to bring your kids some of Winnipeg’s safe Trick-or-Treating options.
Various malls throughout the city will be offering Safe Trick-or-Treating where kids can collect candy from various stores. Parent’s have peace of mind that their kids are safe from traffic and any strange homes they may come across.
St. Vital Centre (Monday, October 31):
They invite all the monsters, zombies, ghosts, butterflies, fairies and superheroes to come stay dry and warm on October 31 from 6 – 8pm for Safe Trick or Treating!
Free treat bags for kids 10 and under, while supplies last.
Kildonan Place (Monday, October 31):
Bring your little ghouls and goblins to KP for indoor safe Halloween trick-or-treating on MONDAY October 31 from 2:00-4:30pm. For kids of all ages, this event is geared towards little ones, pre-school and early school-age children, to give them a safe, warm Halloween experience. (And it beats having to wear your costume over top of your snowsuit!)
Begin by visiting Guest Services, and receive a treat and guide, to ensure you visit every single participating store!
Grant Park (Monday, October 31):
Grant Park will once again host a Safe Halloween event on Monday, October 31st.
This year’s theme is a Journey To Neverland with Peter Pan, the Lost Boys, pirates, mermaids and fairies! Have a stroll through our display area at Landmark Cinema, take some photos then trick-or-treat throughout the mall from 4:00 – 7:00pm!
While visiting the mall for trick-or-treat, stop over at Centre Court for our free photo booth with professional photographer! Take home a keepsake from the evening. (one photo per person)
All kids 16 & under will be eligible to enter our treasure hunt contest too! Look for the entry forms at the Neverland display or Photo Booth.
Can’t make it for trick-or-treat? Stop by “Neverland” anytime after 12pm for a sneak peek!
Portage Place Shopping Centre (Monday, October 31):
Visit various Portage Place tenants with your kids in costume between 4 pm and 6 pm and they can receive FREE TREATS this Halloween.
CF Polo Park Shopping Centre (Monday, October 31):
There’s no official Halloween event at CF Polo Park, but various stores usually offer treats for kids in costumes.
